Beautiful vintage moonstone necklace with exceptionally cut, elongated rectangular moonstone beads.

Unlike classic moonstone necklaces made of round beads, this piece features numerous slightly irregular, elongated rectangular or tablet-shaped beads. This unique cut gives the necklace an elegant yet individual vintage character.

The moonstones have a milky-white to slightly transparent base color. Depending on how the light hits them, individual beads display the typical bluish shimmer or fine blue adularescence characteristic of moonstone.

The blue light reflections are much more beautiful in person and are difficult to capture completely in photos. They emerge with varying intensity depending on movement, viewing angle, and light.

Each bead possesses its own natural structure, transparency, and markings. Small inclusions and internal structures are part of the gemstone's natural character.

The necklace is finished with a gold-colored lobster clasp made of 925 sterling silver.
