Gemstone necklace with a black tourmaline (schorl) ~ rough ~ incl. 1.5mm leather cord in antique brown for knotting.
A very beautiful quality - you will receive the stone pictured.
Schorl is the only tourmaline whose power can benefit children, women, and men to the same extent. It is rightly considered the most powerful and best protective stone for body and soul.
It helps you to distance yourself from external influences as well as to free yourself from your own confusions. This creates clarity and relief for an overheated mind.
Schorl is a wonderful companion in professional life if you want to use your mental abilities in a focused, clear, and efficient way. It promotes logical-rational thinking and frees you from unnecessary brooding and mental excesses.
At the same time, this clarity and a small portion of pragmatism provide inner sovereignty and increase one's healthy self-confident appearance.
Black tourmaline has been known as a mineral in Europe since ancient times. The name Schorl for black tourmaline first appeared around 1500, while the name Tourmaline was first mentioned around 1636. Black tourmaline is therefore still known as Schorl today. Originally, the name Schorl meant "impure, useless ore," as black tourmaline, in particular, permeated valuable ores.
Black tourmaline, also called Schorl, is formed exclusively by volcanic activity. The main discovery areas for tourmaline (black) are in Brazil, Madagascar, and Afghanistan. Black tourmaline is quite often intergrown with various types of quartz, orthoclase, albite, or various types of mica. The crystal formation of black tourmaline can be quite diverse. For example, black tourmaline can have fascicled crystals, radial-fibrous formations, as well as chaotic crystal crusts or floaters. Dense masses - without any crystal formation - also occur in tourmaline (black).
Black tourmaline consists mainly of sodium, iron, aluminum, fluorine, hydrogen, oxygen, and boron. The composition of schorl can vary depending on the location. Calcium, chromium, lithium, magnesium, manganese, or titanium are occasionally present - all these elements give the black tourmaline, depending on the location, a kind of personal touch.
