Why our products are special & how, with your purchase, we raise awareness of ethically pure crystals
Highest quality & "Ethical Mining"
This product comes from the cleanest ethical source and highest quality production.
We are fighting together for ethically sourced minerals.
We support a company founded by a friend who worked at Greenpeace for 30 years and has now founded a company for the clean extraction of minerals.
We do not sell cheap and unethical mass-produced goods from China & India.
In this world, many minerals are mined illegally, without protection, in a bloody and corrupt manner. Conditions are often appalling from the mining process to the processing of the stones. There is widespread exploitation, and the profits often go to large corporations. Workers are poorly protected during mining, if it is even legal at all, and the pay is a sad joke.
Through our company's cooperation in Peru, we ensure that we know: -where our minerals come from, who mined them & under what conditions, who polished the product & how it was processed, that there is no long supply chain & that we ultimately receive a specially tailored high-quality product that is unique on the market.
We hope you enjoy this product; it comes from ethically sound production and the minerals were found and processed directly in Peru.
Schorl is the only tourmaline whose power can benefit children, women, and men equally. It is rightly considered the most powerful and best protective stone for body and soul.
It helps you to distance yourself from external influences and to resolve your own confusion. This creates clarity and relief for an overactive mind.
Schorl is a wonderful companion in your professional life if you want to use your mental abilities in a focused, clear, and efficient way. It promotes logical and rational thinking and frees you from unnecessary rumination and mental digressions.
At the same time, this clarity and the small dose of pragmatism ensure inner sovereignty and increase one's own healthy, self-confident demeanor.
Black tourmaline has been known as a mineral in Europe since antiquity. The name schorl for black tourmaline first appeared around 1500, while the name tourmaline itself was not mentioned until around 1636. Black tourmaline is therefore still known as schorl today. Originally, the name schorl meant "impure, useless ore," as black tourmaline in particular was found in valuable ores.
Black tourmaline, also known as schorl, is formed exclusively by volcanic activity. The main deposits of black tourmaline are located in Brazil, Madagascar, and Afghanistan. Black tourmaline is quite frequently intergrown with various types of quartz, orthoclase, albite, or different mica minerals. The crystal formation of black tourmaline can be quite diverse. For example, black tourmaline can occur as tufted crystals, radially radiating formations, as well as as randomly arranged crystal slabs or floaters. Dense masses without any crystal formation can also be found in black tourmaline.
Black tourmaline consists primarily of sodium, iron, aluminum, fluorine, hydrogen, oxygen, and boron. The composition of schorl can vary depending on its origin. Occasionally, calcium, chromium, lithium, magnesium, manganese, or titanium are also present – all these elements contribute to the unique character of each black tourmaline, depending on its source.
