Sugilite

Sugilite is one of the most valuable gemstones, yet it has not been known for long. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.

The gemstone Sugilite is a special feature among healing stones. The interesting coloring, the charisma and the positive life energy that a Sugilite radiates, make this stone a small individual treasure for every user. In addition, there is the sometimes high price, which makes a Sugilite an overall exceptional specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is often also called the "New Age Stone" because it is supposed to warn of the end of the world. It was found at the place in Africa where the cradle of mankind is presumed to be. Exactly at this place, it was supposed to have been brought from the interior of the earth by the power of all planets to protect people from the evil rays of the cosmos, from diseases and megalomania.
