Gemstones & crystals produce diverse effects as healing stones, chakra stones, lucky stones, ritual stones, or protective stones.

When you start exploring the world of crystals and gemstones, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. What makes these small and large energy stones so special? Which one is the right one for me, and what effects are they known for? And what do I do with them? Don't worry, we felt the same way in the beginning. The first thing you need to know is: you really can't go wrong. Gemstones can be integrated into your everyday life quite simply.

Gemstones are considered powerful companions, especially in an age where we spend most of our day staring at small screens. We quickly forget the world around us and feel disconnected—from nature, the people around us, and ultimately, ourselves.
Even though it is easy to forget due to their iridescent colors and extraordinary cuts: gemstones come from nature. They are formed from magma deep within the Earth or through high pressure on rock, and they can transfer this energy to us. It often takes many millennia for a stone to reach the Earth's surface.
The stone you finally hold in your hands is therefore many years older and carries a great deal of wisdom and power within it. Let this thought ground you, arrive in the moment, and look not only toward the future but also at what has already been. Only then can we learn.
Whether you simply wear your new companion and let its influence work on you ~ or use it for rituals & ceremonies, is now in your hands.

Sugilite

Sugilite is among the most valuable gemstones, yet it has not been known for very long. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.

The gemstone Sugilite represents a specialty among healing stones. The interesting coloration, the radiance, and the positive life energy that a Sugilite emits make this stone a small, individual treasure for every user. Added to this is the sometimes high price, which makes a Sugilite an overall exceptional specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is often referred to as a "New Age Stone" because it is said to warn of the end of the world. It is said to have been found in Africa at the site where the cradle of humanity is suspected to be. At this very place, it is said to have been brought from the Earth's interior through the power of all the planets to protect humanity from the evil rays of the cosmos, from diseases, and from megalomania.

This gemstone imparts so much positive energy to process and cope with difficult things. Whether it is a hard blow of fate, or dependency on drugs or similar substances - the Sugilite can provide assistance to the user here. The stone can support a positive attitude toward life and promote personal responsibility. With its life energy, it can show the way to a new beginning after such obstacles. With its very own aura, it can empower the user to take a different path more straightforwardly than before—and thus point to a new era of life toward self-realization. The stone can also unfold its supportive and releasing effect for fears and anxiety disorders, paranoia, agoraphobia, or schizophrenic states, as well as various life crises. A further criterion is that the healing stone can contribute to a solution in conflicts with other people. For this stone to unfold its full aura and spread its positive life energy, it should be discharged at least once a month. This process is best carried out using hematite tumbled stones.

Sugilite should always be in direct skin contact with the user. To achieve this, it is best placed on the affected parts of the body that are to be supplied with positive life energy. This gemstone is also suitable for direct contact with water. Thus, the user can also employ it for the creation of gemstone water. The effect of such water can be described as particularly powerful. A gemstone bowl, in which gemstone water is generated using steam, is ideal for preparation. A Sugilite can be used very well for all conceivable chakras. However, it works best when applied to the Crown Chakra and the Third Eye. In addition to these main chakras, the healing stone can also be used in the area of the Throat and Heart Chakras, the Sacral Chakra, the Solar Plexus Chakra, or the Root Chakra. Meditation with a Sugilite is also possible. With the help of this method, the user's intellectual horizon can be expanded, for example.

Sugilite, Zodiac Signs, and Origin

For followers of astrology and the study of zodiac signs, Sugilite is also an important gemstone. It is considered a key primary stone for the zodiac signs Libra and Pisces. For users with the sign of Libra, the Sugilite gemstone can help achieve more self-determination and freedom. For Pisces, Sugilite can improve discipline and, on top of that, provide support in various problematic areas of life. The main deposits of Sugilite are found in South Africa. Besides that, there are finds in Japan and India, as well as on the fifth continent, Australia. Overall, the healing stone Sugilite is still quite rare—which partly results in a correspondingly high price. Many users and friends of Sugilite also ask themselves how it is actually formed. Sugilite is formed through the influence of hydrothermal solutions on manganese ores or on a magmatic level bound in syenite. Experts refer to this as a metasomatic formation of the stone. A Sugilite belongs to the so-called mineral class of silicates. Its sometimes intense red-violet coloration stems from its manganese-based origin. Sugilite is a stone that often appears together with other substances, such as Aegirine and Albite, as well as Quartz.

For energy cleansing, we recommend hematite tumbled stones, which you can find individually in our shop.
