Gemstones & crystals produce diverse effects as healing stones, chakra stones, lucky charms, ritual stones, or protective stones.

When you first start to explore crystals and gemstones, it can feel a little overwhelming. What makes these small and large energy stones so special? Which one is right for me, and what effects is it known for? And what do I do with it then? Don't worry, we felt the same way at the beginning. The first thing you need to know is: you can't really go wrong. Gemstones can be integrated into your everyday life very simply.

Gemstones are considered powerful companions, especially in a time when we spend most of our day looking at small screens. We quickly forget the world around us and feel disconnected – from nature, our fellow human beings, and ultimately ourselves.
Even if you quickly forget it with their shimmering colors and extraordinary cuts: gemstones come from nature. They originate from magma deep within the Earth or through high pressure on rock, and they can transfer this energy to us. It often takes many millennia for a stone to penetrate to the Earth's surface.
The stone you finally hold in your hands is therefore many years older and carries a lot of wisdom and power within it. Let this thought ground you, arrive in the moment, and look not only to the future but also to what has already been. Only then can we learn.
Whether you simply wear your new companion and let it work its magic on you ~ or use it for rituals & ceremonies, is now in your hands.

Sugilite

Sugilite is one of the most valuable gemstones, yet it has not been known for long. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.

The gemstone Sugilite is special among healing stones. Its interesting coloration, radiance, and the positive life energy that Sugilite emits make this stone a small individual treasure for every user. Added to this is the sometimes high price, which makes Sugilite an altogether exceptional specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is often called the "New Age Stone" because it is said to warn against the end of the world. It was supposedly found in Africa where the cradle of humanity is believed to be. Precisely in this place, it is said to have been brought from the Earth's interior by the power of all planets to protect humans from the evil rays of the cosmos, from diseases and megalomania.

This gemstone provides so much positive energy to process and cope with even difficult things. Whether it's a severe stroke of fate, addiction to drugs or similar substances - Sugilite can provide assistance to the user here. The stone can support a positive attitude towards life and promote personal responsibility. With its life energy, it can show the way to a new beginning after such obstacles. With its very own aura, it can enable the user to take a straighter path than before - and thus point to a new era of life towards self-realization. The stone can also develop its supportive and releasing effect in cases of fears and anxieties, paranoia, agoraphobia, or even schizophrenic states, as well as various life crises. Another important criterion is that the healing stone can contribute to resolving conflicts with other people. For this stone to fully unfold its aura and spread positive life energy, it should be discharged at least once a month. This process is best performed using tumbled hematite stones.

Sugilite should always be in direct skin contact with the user. To do this, it is best to place it on the relevant parts of the body that are to be supplied with positive life energy. This gemstone is also suitable for coming into direct contact with water. Thus, the user can also use it for making gemstone water. The effect of such water can be described as particularly powerful. For its production, a gemstone bowl is suitable, in which the gemstone water is generated with steam. A Sugilite can indeed be used well for all imaginable chakras. However, it works best when applied to the crown chakra and the third eye. In addition to these main chakras, the healing stone can also be used in the area of the throat and heart chakras, the sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, or the root chakra. Meditation with a Sugilite is also possible. With the help of this method, for example, the user's mental horizon can be expanded.

Sugilite, the Zodiac Signs and its Origin

For followers of astrology and zodiac sign lore, Sugilite is also an important gemstone. It is considered an important main stone for the zodiac signs Libra and Pisces. For users with the zodiac sign Libra, the Sugilite gemstone can help increase self-determination and freedom. For Pisces, Sugilite can improve self-discipline and, moreover, provide support in various problematic areas of life. The main occurrence of Sugilite is found in South Africa. In addition, there are finds in Japan and India, as well as on the fifth continent, in Australia. Overall, the healing stone Sugilite is still relatively rare - which sometimes results in a correspondingly high price. Many users and friends of Sugilite also wonder how it even forms. Sugilite is formed by the influence of hydrothermal solutions on manganese ores or on a magmatic level in syenite. The experts speak here of a metasomatic formation of the stone. A Sugilite belongs to the so-called mineral class of silicates. Its sometimes intensely red-violet coloration comes from its manganese-based origin. Sugilite is a stone that often appears together with other substances, such as Aegirine and Albite, as well as Quartz.

For energy cleansing, we recommend hematite tumbled stones, which you can find individually in our shop.
