Sugilite

Sugilite is one of the most valuable gemstones, yet it has not been known for long. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.

The gemstone Sugilite is special among healing stones. The interesting coloring, the radiance, and the positive life energy that a Sugilite radiates make this stone a small individual treasure for every user. Added to this is the sometimes high price, which makes a Sugilite an overall exceptional specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is often also called "New Age Stone" because it is said to warn of the end of the world. It was supposedly found in Africa where the cradle of humanity is believed to be. Precisely in this place, it is said to have been brought from the interior of the earth by the power of all planets to protect people from the evil rays of the cosmos, from diseases and megalomania.

This gemstone imparts so much positive energy that it can help process and cope with difficult things. Whether a heavy stroke of fate, addiction to drugs or similar substances - the Sugilite can provide assistance to the user here. Sugilite is formed by the influence of hydrothermal solutions on manganese ores or on a magmatic level in syenite. Experts refer to this as a metasomatic formation of the stone. A Sugilite belongs to the so-called mineral class of silicates. Its sometimes intensely red-violet coloration comes from its manganese-based origin. Sugilite is a stone that often appears together with other substances, such as Aegirine and Albite, as well as Quartz.
