Sugilite

Sugilite is one of the most valuable gemstones, yet it has not been known for very long. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.

The gemstone Sugilite is special among healing stones. Its interesting coloration, radiance, and the positive life energy that Sugilite emits make this stone a small individual treasure for every user. Added to this is the sometimes high price, which makes Sugilite an overall extraordinary specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is often called the "New Age Stone" because it is said to warn of the end of the world. It was supposedly found in the place in Africa where the cradle of humanity is believed to be. It is said that at this very location, it was brought from the earth's interior by the power of all planets to protect humans from the evil rays of the cosmos, from diseases, and from megalomania.

This gemstone imparts so much positive energy that it can help process and cope with difficult things. Whether it's a severe stroke of fate, drug addiction, or similar substances – Sugilite can provide assistance to the user. Experts refer to this as metasomatic formation of the stone. A Sugilite belongs to the so-called mineral class of silicates. Its sometimes intensely reddish-purple coloration comes from its manganese-based origin. Sugilite is a stone that often appears together with other substances, such as Aegirine and Albite, as well as Quartz.
