Gemstones & crystals create diverse effects as healing stones, chakra stones, lucky stones, ritual stones, or protective stones.

When you start exploring the world of crystals and gemstones, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. What makes these little and large energy stones so special? Which one is right for me and what effect is it known for? And what do I do with it? Don't worry, we felt the same way in the beginning. The first thing you need to know: You really can't do anything wrong. Gemstones can be very easily integrated into your everyday life.

Gemstones are considered powerful companions, especially in a time where we spend most of our day looking at small screens. We quickly forget the world around us and feel disconnected – from nature, our fellow human beings, and ultimately ourselves.
Even though one might quickly forget it given their shimmering colors and extraordinary cuts: gemstones come from nature. They are formed from magma deep within the earth or through intense pressure on rock and can transfer this energy to us. It often takes many millennia for a stone to reach the earth's surface.
The stone you finally hold in your hands is therefore many years older and carries a great deal of wisdom and power within it. Let this thought ground you, arrive in the moment, and look not only into the future but also at what has already been. Only then can we learn.
Whether you simply wear your new companion to let it affect you ~ or use it for rituals & ceremonies, is now in your hands.

Sugilite

Sugilite is one of the most valuable gemstones, yet it has not been known for very long. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.

The gemstone Sugilite represents a special case among healing stones. The interesting coloration, the radiance, and the positive life energy that a Sugilite emits make this stone a small individual treasure for every user. Added to this is the sometimes high price, which makes a Sugilite an altogether exceptional specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is also often referred to as the "New Age Stone" because it is said to warn of the end of the world. It is said to have been found in the place in Africa where the cradle of humanity is suspected to be. It is believed that it was brought from the earth's interior at this very location by the power of all the planets to protect people from the evil rays of the cosmos, from diseases, and from megalomania.

This gemstone imparts so much positive energy that it helps one process and cope with even difficult things. Whether it is a heavy stroke of fate, dependency on drugs or similar substances - the Sugilite can provide assistance to the user. The stone can support a positive attitude towards life and promote personal responsibility. With its life energy, it can show the way to a new beginning after such obstacles. It can empower the user with its very own aura to head more straightforwardly in a different direction than before - and thus point towards a new era of life leading to self-realization. The stone can also unfold its supportive and releasing effect for fears and anxiety states, paranoia, claustrophobia, or even schizophrenic states as well as various life crises. A further criterion is that the healing stone can contribute to a solution in conflicts with other people. In order for this stone to unfold its full aura and spread its positive life energy, it should be discharged at least once a month. This process is best carried out using hematite tumble stones.

The Sugilite should always be in direct skin contact with the user. To this end, it is best to place it on the relevant parts of the body that are to be supplied with positive life energy. This gemstone is also suitable for coming into direct contact with water. Thus, the user can also employ it for the production of gemstone water. The effect of such water can be described as particularly powerful. For production, a gemstone bowl is suitable, in which the gemstone water is generated using steam. A Sugilite can be used really well for all imaginable chakras. However, it works best when applied to the crown chakra and the third eye. Besides these main chakras, the healing stone can also be used in the area of the throat and heart chakra, the sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, or the root chakra. Meditation with a Sugilite is also possible. With the help of this method, for example, the user's mental horizon can be expanded.

Sugilite, the zodiac signs, and the origin

For followers of astrology and zodiac lore, the Sugilite is also an important gemstone. It is considered an important main stone for the zodiac signs Libra and Pisces. For users with the zodiac sign Libra, the Sugilite gemstone can help increase self-determination and freedom. For Pisces, the Sugilite can improve the ability for discipline and, on top of that, support in various problematic life areas. The main deposits of Sugilite are found in South Africa. In addition, there are finds in Japan and India as well as on the fifth continent, in Australia. Overall, the healing stone Sugilite is still quite rare - which is partly responsible for its correspondingly high price. Many users and friends of Sugilite also ask themselves how it is formed at all. Sugilite is bound through the influence of hydrothermal solutions on manganese ores or on a magmatic level in syenite. Experts speak here of a metasomatic formation of the stone. A Sugilite belongs to the so-called mineral class of silicates. Its partly intense red-violet coloration stems from its manganese-based origin. The Sugilite is a stone that often appears together with other substances, such as aegirine and albite as well as quartz.

For energy cleansing, we recommend hematite tumble stones, which you can find individually in our shop.
