Sugilite belongs to the most valuable gemstones, yet it has not been known for long. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.

The Sugilite gemstone represents a rarity among healing stones. Its interesting coloring, radiance, and the positive life energy that a Sugilite exudes make this stone a small individual treasure for every user. Added to this is its sometimes high price, which makes a Sugilite an overall extraordinary specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is also often referred to as the "New Age Stone" because it is said to warn of the end of the world. It is said to have been found in Africa at the place where the cradle of humanity is believed to be. It is said that at this very location, it was brought from the earth's interior by the power of all planets to protect people from the evil rays of the cosmos, from diseases, and from megalomania.

This gemstone provides so much positive energy to process and cope with even difficult things.
