Leopard Opal
Size: 53mm
Origin: Madagascar
This sphere is something completely new and special; it is an opal rock from Madagascar, which has white spots and rare bluish spots (we saw 3kg and only selected 3 spheres with lots of spots and colors).
The name Madagascar Opal is still new; it is a leopard opal rock, which is generally known as C-opal or "common opal", a subfamily of opals that have no use as gemstones.
The bluish color could have been caused by iron, manganese, or chalcedony.
You will of course receive the sphere shown in the picture.
Why our products are special & how, with your purchase, we raise awareness of ethically pure crystals
Highest quality & "Ethical Mining"
This product comes from the cleanest ethical source and highest quality production.
We are fighting together for ethically sourced minerals.
We support a company founded by a friend who worked at Greenpeace for 30 years and has now founded a company for the clean extraction of minerals.
We do not sell cheap and unethical mass-produced goods from China & India.
In this world, many minerals are mined illegally, without protection, in a bloody and corrupt manner. Conditions are often appalling from the mining process to the processing of the stones. There is widespread exploitation, and the profits often go to large corporations. Workers are poorly protected during mining, if it is even legal at all, and the pay is a sad joke.
Through our company's cooperation in Peru, we ensure that we know: -where our minerals come from, who mined them & under what conditions, who polished the product & how it was processed, that there is no long supply chain & that we ultimately receive a specially tailored high-quality product that is unique on the market.
We hope you enjoy this product; it comes from ethically sound production and the minerals were found and processed directly in Peru.
We hope you enjoy browsing our shop. If you like what you see, we would be very happy if you would follow us here :)
