When you first start exploring the world of crystals and gemstones, it can be a little overwhelming at first. What makes these small and large energy stones so special? Which one is right for me, and what effects is it known for? And what do I actually do with it? Don't worry, we felt the same way at the beginning. The first thing you need to know is: you can't really go wrong. Gemstones can be easily integrated into your everyday life.

Gemstones are considered powerful companions, especially in a time when we spend most of our day staring at small screens. We quickly forget the world around us and feel disconnected – from nature, our fellow human beings, and ultimately, ourselves.
Although it's easy to forget amidst their dazzling colors and extraordinary cuts, gemstones originate from nature. They are formed from magma deep within the Earth or through high pressure exerted on a rock, and can transfer this energy to us. It often takes many thousands of years for a stone to reach the Earth's surface.
The stone you ultimately hold in your hands is therefore many years older and carries within it a great deal of wisdom and strength. Let this thought ground you, arrive in the present moment, and look not only to the future but also to what has already been. Only in this way can we learn.
Whether you simply wear your new companion and let it have its effect on you ~ or use it for rituals & ceremonies, is now in your hands.

Labradorite

Labradorite owes its name to the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, where it was first discovered in 1770. Because of its iridescent colors, the stone is not only used to decorate magnificent buildings, but also in many works of art and exquisite jewelry. As iridescent as a splendid peacock feather, labradorite is a truly special stone.

Labradorite forms either magmatically in dunite, gabbros, basalt and anorthosite or metamorphically in amphibolite.

Labradorite (also called spectrolite), a now rare gemstone, is a colorful lucky charm. It often displays a multitude of colors and shimmers with numerous facets. It is a stone that should not be used in combination with other gemstones.

Labradorite Zodiac Signs: Aries, Scorpio, Leo, also Aquarius, Sagittarius, Pisces, Capricorn
Labradorite Chakra: Throat Chakra, Crown, Third Eye Chakra, Hand Chakra

Labradorite's effects and significance for your life:
Labradorite has an uplifting effect on those experiencing heightened nervousness, underlying tension, or emotional blocks – restoring mental balance and opening up new perspectives. The stone's iridescent array of colors not only stimulates our imagination and creativity but also intensifies our intuition and inner emotional world. On a physical level, labradorite alleviates bone and joint problems, such as those associated with rheumatism, gout, or osteoarthritis. The stone also has a calming effect on the cardiovascular system, positively influencing blood pressure.
Labradorite is said to have the greatest effect on the heart chakra. Astrologically, it is associated with the zodiac signs Aquarius, Cancer, and Scorpio. Spheres of this semi-precious stone, placed in the living area, are believed to balance negative energies. Labradorite water can be drunk in small sips for general strengthening.
To ensure you can enjoy your jewelry for a long time, you should always remove rings with labradorite before doing housework. The stone is not only very sensitive to pressure, but also to temperature fluctuations, alkalis, and other chemicals. For example, a sudden transition from cold to hot water can cause the stone to crack. Cleaning labradorite in an ultrasonic bath is also not recommended, as this can damage the stone.
It is recommended to clean the labradorite under running lukewarm water after use. Afterwards, it should be placed in a bowl of mineral water in the clear morning air to recharge. It can also be discharged in a dry bowl with hematite tumbled stones and then recharged in a cluster of rock crystal.
