The name of the disthene is derived from the Greek “dis” (in German: two) and “sthenos” (in German: power and translated means “double hardness”. It refers to the different hardnesses of this gemstone, which come from one end On the other hand, it is different. The also common name kyanite also comes from the Greek and refers to its predominantly blue color.

For calm, meditation. Serenity, nervous system. Freed from heavy burdens and constraints. It is an uplifting stone and gives calm nerves, clear pronunciation and concentration of thoughts.
It is a protective stone for the voice and should be worn together with chalcedony.
Cyanite is a stone that has a positive effect on the mind. Its energy gives the wearer relaxed nerves, clear, confident speech and an increased ability to concentrate. People who have to speak frequently due to their profession, such as teachers, salespeople, actors, singers and politicians, should use it as a protective stone for their voice, possibly in combination with chalcedony, e.g. B. wear it around your neck as a necklace.
