Even in normal daylight, the specimen shows an interesting natural mineral structure. On the dark brown rock matrix, there are numerous small, glass-like shiny hyalite portions as well as a particularly striking, larger botryoidal formation.
Under UV light, the specimen reveals its full beauty: the large hyalite portion glows in an intense neon green, while numerous other fluorescent areas are distributed across the entire matrix.

WHAT MAKES HYALITE SPECIAL?
