WHAT IS GREEN BERYL?

Beryl is a mineral species whose most well-known gemstone varieties include aquamarine, emerald, and morganite.

Green beryl can display various shades of green. However, not every green beryl is automatically an emerald.

Naturally grown beryl crystals are of particular interest to mineral collectors, as they display the mineral's original crystal shapes and growth structures.
