These earrings were handcrafted from beautiful old vintage garnet beads (1990).

The natural garnet beads have an exceptional, softly square shape and are faceted all around. As a result, the individual facets reflect the light beautifully and bring out the deep wine-red to dark burgundy tones of the garnet.

The beads come from an expensive older vintage garnet necklace that I carefully disassembled and crafted into new pieces of jewelry. This gives these high-quality old gemstone beads a new life.

Since these are natural gemstones and vintage beads, color, transparency, shape, and faceting may vary slightly from bead to bead. These small differences emphasize the individual character of each pair of earrings.
