CALCITE
This stone, which can be easily ground, has been used as lime in folk medicine for thousands of years. It was mainly used as an additive for ointments and pastes against skin rashes, ulcers and warts. The Indians attributed different properties to the individual color variants of calcite. They believed that the bright red orange calcite stored solar power to protect people from evil spirits. For them, the blue calcite was a gift from heaven that fell to the earth on hot days and brought cooling to people.

Calcite activates and stimulates physical, mental and spiritual growth and development.
