Gemstones & crystals produce a variety of effects as healing stones, chakra stones, lucky stones, ritual stones or protective stones.
When you first start to explore the world of crystals and gemstones, it can be a little overwhelming. What makes these small and large energy stones so special? Which one is right for me and what effect is it known for? And what do I do with it then? Don't worry, we felt the same way at the beginning. The first thing you need to know: You can't really do anything wrong. Gemstones can be easily integrated into your daily life.
Gemstones are considered powerful companions, especially in a time when we spend most of our day staring at small screens. We quickly forget the world around us and feel disconnected – from nature, our fellow human beings, and ultimately from ourselves.
Even though one quickly forgets this with the shimmering colors and extraordinary cuts: gemstones originate from nature. They are formed from magma in the earth's interior or through high pressure on a rock and can transfer this energy to us. It often takes many millennia for a stone to penetrate the earth's surface.
The stone you finally hold in your hands is therefore many years older and carries a lot of wisdom and power within it. Let this thought ground you, be present in the moment, and look not only to the future, but also to what has already been. Only in this way can we learn.
Whether you simply wear your new companion and let it have an effect on you ~ or use it for rituals & ceremonies, is now in your hands.
Sugilite
Sugilite is one of the most valuable gemstones, yet it has only been known for a relatively short time. It was named after the mineralogist Dr. K. Sugi, who discovered it in 1944.
The gemstone Sugilite is a special feature among healing stones. Its interesting color, its aura, and the positive life energy it radiates make this stone a small, individual treasure for every user. Added to this is the sometimes high price, which makes Sugilite an overall exceptional specimen in the world of gemstones.
Sugilite is often called a "New Age stone" because it is said to warn of the apocalypse. It is claimed to have been found in Africa, in the place where the cradle of humanity is believed to be. It is said that at this very spot, it was brought from the Earth's interior by the power of all the planets to protect people from the evil rays of the cosmos, from illness, and from megalomania.
This gemstone provides so much positive energy that it can help process and cope with even difficult things. Whether it's a severe blow of fate, dependence on drugs or similar substances – sugilite can provide support to the user. The stone can support a positive feeling of life and promote personal responsibility. With its life energy, it can show the way to a new beginning after such obstacles. With its own unique aura, it can enable the user to take a more direct path in a different direction than before – and thus point the way to a new era of self-realization. The stone can also unfold its supportive and resolving effect in cases of anxiety and anxiety disorders, paranoia, agoraphobia, schizophrenic states, and various life crises. A further criterion is that the healing stone can contribute to resolving conflicts with other people. For this stone to unfold its full aura and spread positive life energy, it should be cleansed at least once a month. This process is best done using tumbled hematite stones.
Sugilite should always be in direct skin contact with the user. For this, it is best placed on the relevant parts of the body that are to be supplied with positive life energy. This gemstone is also suitable for direct contact with water. Therefore, the user can also use it to make gemstone water. The effect of such water can be described as particularly strong. For production, a gemstone bowl is suitable, in which gemstone water is generated with steam. Sugilite can be used very well for all conceivable chakras. However, it works best when applied to the crown chakra and the third eye. In addition to these main chakras, the healing stone can also be used in the area of the throat and heart chakra, the sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra or the root chakra. Meditation with a sugilite is also possible. With the help of this method, for example, the user's intellectual horizon can be broadened.
Sugilite, the Zodiac Signs and its Origin
Sugilite is also an important gemstone for followers of astrology and the zodiac. It is considered an important main stone for the zodiac signs Libra and Pisces. For users with the zodiac sign Libra, the sugilite gemstone can help to achieve more self-determination and freedom. For Pisces, sugilite can improve discipline and support in various problematic areas of life. The main occurrence of sugilite is in South Africa. In addition, there are finds in Japan and India, as well as on the fifth continent, in Australia. Overall, the healing stone sugilite is still quite rare – which partly results in a correspondingly high price. Many users and fans of sugilite also wonder how it is formed. Sugilite is formed by the influence of hydrothermal solutions on manganese ores or on a magmatic level in syenite. The scientific community refers to this as a metasomatic formation of the stone. Sugilite belongs to the so-called mineral class of silicates. Its sometimes intensely red-violet coloration stems from its manganese-based origin. Sugilite is a stone that often appears together with other substances, such as aegirin and albite, as well as quartz.
