The Andean opal, as its name suggests, comes from the Andes of Peru, has a hardness of 6 to 7 and belongs to the family of opal quartz. It occurs in the colors pink, blue-green, brown and white, whereby the differently colored stones are also said to have different properties.

Even with the Incas and Aztecs, the stone had a special meaning: an eye of the gods, which was left behind by them when they left the earth. From the point of view of these ancient tribes, it was a stone of hope that reminded us in times of war that people, animals and nature belong together in harmony. Even today, this stone is considered a protective and healing stone in Peru and is traditionally worn as jewelry.

Above all, the pink Andean opal is said to dispel depressive moods and fears. In addition, it promotes real love, but it also intensifies the desire for eroticism and sexuality. It gives spontaneity and joie de vivre and thus helps you to survive everyday life in a good mood and thus better. The physical effect manifests itself in an improved function of enzymes, but also helps in the prevention of worm infestations, mites and viral infections. It is commonly known as the healing stone of the digestive system. The brown-white Andean opal combines the properties of pink and green-blue stone and also has a reinforcing effect on their positive properties when used together.
