Water stones and healing stones and the approach to healing with gemstones is not a trend of our time. Even in the Middle Ages, doctors and healers used valuable natural stones to provide people with relief from a wide variety of ailments.

One of the most famous personalities of her time was the Abbess Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179), who had already devoted herself to the teaching of healing through gemstones in the 12th century. She documented her findings and recorded them in books for posterity. In their “Healing Stones Lexicon” reports on 24 important healing stones with their applications and effects are recorded that are still valid today. Although one or two applications from the early 12th century may seem a bit strange to us today, their observations from that time show surprising parallels to the findings of today's research.

To clean, place under cold running water for 10 minutes, in the morning
