CHAROITE

Charoite gets its name from its first place of discovery, the Chara River in Siberia, where it was first discovered in 1948. It is only found in this region. At first glance, this gemstone looks very similar to sugilite, but upon closer inspection it can be distinguished from it by its white inclusions.
