Apatite
The name apatite comes from Greek and means something like “to deceive” (apatáo). This name is attributed to the fact that the stone is very often confused with other stones such as aquamarine, beryl or calcite.
Apatite is an anhydrous calcium phosphate. Often confused with other stones in the past, this healing stone is best known for its strong blue color. It is so popular as a healing stone because it is very rich in minerals that are also found in the human body.
