Poisonous water stones include malachite, azurite, turquoise, tiger's eye and pyrite - but there are others.


Water stones and healing stones, and the approach to healing with gemstones, is not a modern trend. Even in the Middle Ages, doctors and healers used precious natural stones to provide relief from a wide variety of ailments.

One of the most famous figures of her time was Abbess Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179), who had already dedicated herself to the teachings of healing through gemstones in the 12th century. The application of knowledge in the form of gemstones, water stones, and healing stones in our time is still largely based on her science and the results she discovered through her medical research. She documented her findings and recorded them in books for posterity. Her "Healing Stone Encyclopedia" contains reports on 24 important healing stones that are still valid today, along with their uses and effects. While one or two of the uses from the early 12th century may seem somewhat strange to us today, her observations from that time show astonishing parallels to the findings of today's research.

Cleaning, charging the water stones:

Generally, all stones should be thoroughly cleaned with water before being used to purify drinking water. They can be charged by moonlight or in the morning or evening sun. They can also be placed on rock crystals for a few hours.

Important: after one week at the latest, you should give the stones a break and
discharge them from the negative influences that they have removed from the water.
For cleaning, place under cold, running water for 10 minutes, in the morning
or evening sun, but you can also place them on small hematite stones
and charge. Then use as usual.
